Wordmap Content Author is a unique new product that allows authors to tag information consistently, regardless of where it is stored.

Wordmap can present to the author as many fields as required in an easy to use web form. The values in the fields can be preset, or free text, or can be picked from drop down menus, tree browsers and date pickers. The fields can be configured easily by an administrator.

Wordmap Content Author for government is delivered complete with the e-GMS and the full set of ESD taxonomies, so that no customisation whatsoever is needed to achieve e-GMS compliance. It thus represents a rapid and risk free way of complying with e-government standards.

Wordmap Content Author is integrated with Intelligent Text Classifier, which means that recommendations can be shown to the users who pick subject categories. Wordmap also extracts titles, author names and other metadata from incoming HTML, Word and PDF documents for easy integration with the full metadata set.

Wordmap Content Author can be integrated easily and inexpensively with any content, document or records management system to give fine-grained and consistent control of metadata.
